Styleguide – das Kartell

When an organization, of whatever kind, has reached a certain size and visibility, it becomes important to establish guidelines for a uniform appearance. Usually this does not happen at the beginning, but is a grown process. If then still another changing circle of persons at formative tasks participates one needs a manual at which all can orient themselves. For this purpose I created a style guide for the Star Citizen Community Organisation “das Kartell”, of which I am a member. The design of the styleguide is inspired by the user interfaces of the Star Citizen Alpha. It has been created as an interactive PDF to allow direct linking of data and templates. This should simplify the use, especially if a lot of different data has already accumulated in the document management system.
